Olivia was confused when she opened the letter addressed to her recently deceased father,
and what she found inside was to change her entire perception of her late Dad, and of herself.

Besides the letter, there was a photograph of her father with a woman, and a little girl of
about six. Olivia thought at first that the photograph was an old picture of herself and her father.

But who was the woman in the photo?

Olivia unfolded the letter and read:

Rob,

This is your last warning. You leave your wife and marry me, or I’ll send her a copy of this photo of us and our daughter.

The letter was not signed.

A mingled feeling of anger and sadness rose in Olivia.
Until that moment, she had believed that she was an only child.

“Well,” she thought bitterly, “I always wanted a little sister, but not this way.”
