The Orange Suit

Wesley wanted an orange suit, one that would dazzle everyone
who saw it, but he couldn’t find one in the neighborhood clothing store.
“Nobody wears orange suits,” said the clerk, with his nose in the air.

Then Wesley went to the tailor, who refused to make an orange suit.
“Orange suits,” he said haughtily, “are not fashionable.”

So Wesley went to his sister Louisa, and told her what he wanted.
She rose to the occasion, and two weeks later presented him
with an elegant orange suit that fit perfectly.

But what a time she’d had sewing together all those oranges!
