To celebrate that week’s Strawberry Moon, Melissa Rose listened to
“Strawberry Fields Forever” by The Beatles, read “Strawberry Girl”
by Lois Lenski, and a biography of Darryl Strawberry, put a
Strawberry Shortcake doll on the shelf, looked at paintings of strawberries
and wore a top with strawberries on it, but she couldn’t eat a strawberry.
