Amy Rose threw her plate onto the floor.
Soon she was gazing at the fragments from her position over her mother’s lap.
Her outcry began at the first hairbrush smack.
Fifteen minutes later, she sat on a pillow, eating her broccoli.
Amy Rose had made a great deal of noise during the spanking.
She always could out-cry any child on the block.
