Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had a vivid fondness for Harvey Comics. My favorites were, and are Little Dot, Little Audrey, Little Lotta, Casper the Friendly Ghost, and Richie Rich. In fact, one of the blogs I’m following is The Richie Rich Comics Fan Club.
I was thrilled to learn back in 2014 that Alfred Harvey, the founder of Harvey Comics, grew up in Brighton Beach, the neighborhood where I was born and where I lived for most of my life.
