“Shake Your Booty”

AlwaysARose (ChelleBee)

Summary:

The song quoted in this story was written by Harry Wayne Casey and Richard Finch.

Notes:

This story is loosely based on a post I wrote years ago on a now defunct blog.

Melinda, an extremely precocious three-month-old who could already speak and read,
turned on her radio and heard KC and The Sunshine Band singing,
“Shake, shake, shake, shake, shake shake
Shake your booty, shake your booty.”

Melinda pulled off one of her rose-pink booties and shook it.
“Phooey!” she thought. “A booty makes a lousy rattle.”
