Fiction Friday: July 2: M*A*S*H/Brady Bunch Crossover

We Go Way Back

A drabble I wrote back in 2013, slightly rewritten.
Timelines have been totally scrambled for story purposes.
M*A*S*H was developed by Larry Gelbart, and is the property of 20th Century Fox Television.
The Brady Bunch was created by Sherwood Schwartz, and is the property of Paramount Television.

The young man who had just been brought in was delirious. He kept muttering one name. “Jan. Jan. Jan.” Just that name, over and over. “Jan. Jan. Jan.”

Jonathan Tuttle got a strange look in his eyes.

“What is it?” Hawkeye asked.

“What’s the matter?” asked Trapper.

“I could swear I know this guy. I’m sure we met somewhere. His voice sounds so familiar,” Tuttle said. He looked at the soldier’s dogtags. “I should have known. This guy and I are old friends. We go way back.”

“Oh? Who is he?” asked Hawkeye.

Tuttle answered, “His name is George Glass.”
